Each year Economic Development Administration (EDA) University Center directors and managers from across the country come together to (1) hear from university, government and think tank experts on EDA Center innovations, (2) learn about new program developments and (3) hear about new funding opportunities.. The EAUC Annual Conference is the once a year opportunity for members and associates to network and explore potential for collaboration with colleagues engaged in higher education economic development; learn from industry leaders and best practices associated with the work of University Centers from across the nation; gain exposure to Innovative Economic Prosperity designated institutions that will provide thought leadership to economic development and innovation shared initiatives; access information to anticipated federal program funding; learn how to secure new program funding; and learn shared talking points for making productive Hill and district visits.
The EAUC Annual Washington Conference is the only annual event focused exclusively on federal economic development policy and programs for EDA university economic development programs, and provide valuable information for program development and networking.
