The EAUC and UEDA will be co-hosting a webinar with EDA tomorrow, June 2nd, 2:00 Eastern,  11:00 am Pacific Time.  There is no cost to attend. The purpose of the webinar will be to review the new EDA CARES Act funding.

Description: The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law by President Donald Trump on March 27, 2020, provides the Economic Development Administration (EDA) with $1.5 billion for economic development assistance programs to help communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic. This presentation will feature EDA representatives sharing information regarding the EDA CARES Act Recovery Assistance funding recently made available under the authority of the bureau’s flexible Economic Adjustment Assistance (EAA) program. Join us to learn more about who qualifies for grants, how to apply, what kind of project support/assistance will be funded, and more. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
