This is a landmark year because it is the 50th year for the University Center Program and we really need a representative from each center to attend this very important meeting. To help facilitate your participation we have reduced the registration fee to $495 from $700 and $395 for second participant. We did this to enable your participation and also to help offset the cost of the hotel room which is considerably higher than previous years.
Another important reason to attend this meeting is that Jim Woodell, APLU Vice President for Economic Development and Community Engagement, will be facilitating a panel made up of CICEP/IEP designated universities representatives and then an expanded panel that will include UC Directors from those same campuses. And, then engaging the audience in the discussion of steps forward. This has come about as a result of discussions with Jim Woodell and EAUC leadership over the past several months seeking areas in which the EAUC and CICEP/IEP might work more collaboratively.
The upcoming University Competition and Federal Legislative update are also very important agenda items that will be of strong interest to you, especially those in the Philadelphia and Chicago EDA Regions.
This is shaping up to be a meeting you will not want to miss. We look forward to seeing you in DC…….
Thank you for your continuing support.
